2023 Q2-Q3: $800K by my mid 30s

I reached 2 milestones in life the past month. In this post, I will write about the financial milestone. The stock market ripped up massively from the lows of December 2022 to today, so I crossed a new milestone this month. It sounds great, but the journey was not smooth sailing the whole way. My networth didn’t change at all from Feb 2021 to Dec 2022 (zoom into the blue line below). Here’s how it looks graphically. Again, everything excludes home equity, home liability and CPF assets. Let me put it in another way for readers who are less mathematically inclined. I lost every single paycheck over a span of 23 months! 😂 After such a wild ride, it is good to see things turn around and roar back to life. If your only started seriously investing in 2021-2022, it would have looked very scary and you might have made mistakes out of fear....
