Many REITs have announced their latest financial results and I am still catching up on them. So far, I have seen the Distribution Per Unit (DPU) of most REITs being impacted by higher financial costs due to the Fed rate hikes. With such negative news, opportunities have appeared on Singapore REITs to buy in August 2023.
It is tedious to analyse each and every individual REIT to decide which ones to buy. As a quick way, I will usually use a stock screener to screen for a list of REITs that meet my predefined criteria so that I have a shorter list of REITs to analyse.
It is important for you to know that you should not buy the stock solely based on the current dividend yield. The screening only provide you a shorter list to analyse further.
