For home buyers, at least, the weekend following National Day may be a happy one. New launch sales for three properties, on the 12^th and 13th of August 2023, were at a crawl. According to more than one realtor, at just 53 total units sold, it was the slowest show flat sales they’d seen for the year. An optimistic buyer might see that as a sign that the market’s turning; but for developers, things are looking a bit ominous: Slow launch weekends for Orchard Sophia, TMW Maxwell, and The Arden Realtors told us that, visitor headcounts aside, responses for all three projects were muted. TMW Maxwell moved the fewest units (seven sold), while Orchard Sophia moved 19 units and The Arden sold 27 units.
