Singapore Presidential Election is over. Let us go back to look at Singapore REITs To Buy in September 2023. As shared last month, most REITs were impacted by the higher financial costs due to the Fed rate hikes. The higher financial costs eroded into the Distributable Income to Unitholders. Because of the decline is DPU (Distribution Per Unit), some of the REITs were being sold down by existing unitholders. Dividend investors are not so concern about the decline in share prices because recurring passive income is what we are most concern about. Whether the decline in share prices of REITs is an opportunity or threat, I leave it to you to decide.
