The HDB SBF Sale of Balance Flats (SBF) for February 2024 has been launched! In case you are not aware, the February 2024 SBF will be the only SBF this year. HDB has announced that from 2024 onwards, there will be three BTO exercises and one SBF exercise every year. As HDB explains, this comes on the back of the moderation of BTO application rates which has come down from the pre-pandemic high. As a quick recap, SBF flats are essentially any unsold units from previous BTO exercises, surplus flats from the Selective En Bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS), and flats repurchased by HDB.
