I have been holding two S-chip stocks, bought at good entry points. Though there are strong fundamentals to these stocks, the price of these stocks has all along been below my purchase price. This has led me to not consider S-chip stocks as stocks which I will consider to add to my portfolio a really, I believe investors here do not really appreciate S-chip stocks. The scandal of some S-chip stocks in the past also did not help much in having investors appreciate these stocks. Many S-chip stocks also experience price-swings and not-so-experienced investors may have to learn some “lessons” in the stocks markets through the “hard ways”. With so many S-chip stocks trading on the Singapore stocks markets below their book values now, I really wonder how SGX can help investors vested in these S-chip stocks? I think not few investors in these S-chip stocks are holding them below ......
