"Choosing the right CPF Life Plan" – The Sunday Times

I believe this article in The Sunday Times (23 Aug) should be archived (especially the info-graphic below). The CPF Life Plan is compulsory for all Singaporeans and PRs who reached 55. So in 20 plus years time, albeit there will surely be more changes to the CPF scheme, the CPF Life Plan will be one of my retirement vehicles. The CPF Life Plan provides different trade-offs between the monthly payout amounts and the bequest you would leave your beneficiaries. The monthly payouts starts only at age 65 (earliest). At my current age, it is too far to decide which retirement sum suits best for me. There will be a lot of factors involved. What are the other passive income generators I will have? What will be my total savings in my CPF Ordinary and Special Account? Will I even have enough to meet the Minimum Sum? Standard or Basic Plan? ......
