On 24/Jan, Singapore shares end flat Monday as investors took profit on the morning gains due to doubt on the sustainability ahead.

STI ended higher at 3185.76 (0.2%) with LOW VOL of 1.47 billion shares traded compared with 1.80 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 273 to 170. Although STI ended flat today but overall market falls pretty badly on low volume. This affirms that investors do not wish to ride their stocks over the long holiday session ahead.
