Ascendas REIT 4th-Quarter DPU Rose 19.8%!

On 18/April, Singapore shares end lower Monday as investors prefer to take profit ahead from earnings announcements due in the coming weeks.

STI ended lower at 3144.38 (0.3 %) with LOW VOL of 1.25 billion shares traded compared with 1.22 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 309 to 158.  Today STI traded under thin volmue as investors continue to take profit on specific stocks.

ST Engineering has won S$320 million contracts for aircraft maintenance in the first quarter of 2011.

CapitaLand has secured a contract to manage a brand of serviced apartments in Macau.

City Developments Ltd. (C09.SG) has secured financing of S$1.6 billion in developing of South Beach property project in Singapore.

Keppel Corp has won 35 million euros (US$50.5 million) worth of an offshore wind-turbine installation contract.
