On 06/May, Singapore shares end lower Friday as commodity-related shares were under selling pressure caused by falling crude-oil and metals prices.

STI ended lower at 3099.52 (0.3%) with LOW VOL of 967 million shares traded compared with 1.17 billion shares Thursday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 278 to 175. Today STI continue to undergo profit taking though the selling pressure is contained due to majority of investors sidelined for results of GE.
