SIA load factor falls to 68.2 % in April!

On 16/May, Singapore shares end lower Monday as concerns heightened over European debt and global economic growth,

STI ended lower at 3136.48 (0.9%) with LOW VOL of 990.1 million shares traded compared with 1.32 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 356 to 121. Today STI undergo heavy selling pressure on the overall market although the volume is low due to Vesak holiday.

Keppel Corp. Ltd. (KPELY, BN4.SG) has won US$772 million in repeat rig orders from Norway’s Standard Drilling PLC (SDSD.OS).

Noble Group Ltd. (N21.SG) plans to sell its wholly-owned Donaldson Coal unit to its Australian subsidiary Gloucester Coal Ltd. (GCL.AU) for A$360 million.

SATS 4Q net profit grew 9 per cent to S$50.7 million due to higher revenue contribution from aviation revenue.
