AEI Corporation reported a net profit of S$1.2mn in H1-2011 compared to a loss of $0.5mn from the absence of LME contract provisions...... Tuesday, 16 August, 2011  9:9 AM Posted by Kevin Scully  AEI Corporation reported their H1-2011 results on 10 August 2011.  I have delayed commenting on them until I had a meeting with management yesterday.  Let me first summarise the key items in the results: a) revenue for H1-2011 rose 2.6% to S$29.4mn  b) gross profit in H1-2011 was S$1.85mn down 8.2% c) pretax profit for H1-2011 was S$1.62mn from a loss of S$0.49mn from the absence of a provision for the company's LME forward contract in 2010. d) net profit was S$1.21mn compared to a loss of S$0.47mn e) EPS was S$0.52 cents compared to a loss of 0.18 cents f) NAV per share ......
