Investors, once again are interested in Orchard Road stocks, after an analyst in OCBC gave his take on the development prospects of that less bustling part of Orchard Road around Wheelock Place. The analyst in his report attributed the lack of human traffic around that region due to the lack of MRT stations connectivity. With a new MRT station in the pipeline, the analyst pointed out that stocks with interest in that stretch of Orchard Road could benefit and interest from this report has been translated into the good stock price climbs of stocks like Wheelock Properties, Bonvest Holdings and HPL Properties.
