My style of analysing a S-REIT

A friendly exchange with a reader prompted me to review my own investment goal and my style of analysing a S-REIT.  The reason why I focus solely on REITs is because I have an interest in the product.  REITs are fairly easy to understand as an asset class, though analysing the track record of the REIT's management team may require you to put in some work. I am purely a yield investor, meaning if the business is sound, the yield looks good and the price (at my time of purchase) is right, I will go for it.  I am not exactly bothered if the price goes south after my investment.  I do not intend to sell my holding, unless I need the money.  However, if the REIT Manager does anything that destroys value or is NOT in the interest of unitholders, I will review my ......
