How should Singapore investors invest now?

Singapore stocks headed 0.39% today (9 Feb 2015). I have already told readers that the current STI is at 3,418 on the back of low oil prices, low crude oil prices, an expected interest rate hike from the US, Quantitative Easing from China, Japan and Europe and on the back of the Greece vs European Union talks. Amidst such a backdrop, the STI to me seems high. I think investors should only be interested in STI if the blue-chip Singapore stocks show a uniform good performance but clearly the performance in Singapore blue-chip stocks are quite mixed. A quick glance at Reits, once considered a safe place for investors to “park” their monies to earn good interest rates show that most of the Reits have been sold down too, as a result of a smaller dividend yields declared, possibly due to the weighing of the hike of interest rates......
