The Road to Financial Independence may actually be shorter and faster via higher return on human asset WITH higher saving rate. Shouldn't the younger ones be more focus on generating higher return on their human asset with higher saving rate? I am 62 yrs old uncle living in HDB heartland who has achieved financial independence @ 56 and finally retired @ 60 from full-time job as employee on 1 Oct 2016.
