It is with sadness that Dr Michael Leong had lost his battle against cancer and passed away on 12 Feb 2016. He has helped countless retail investors by creating an affordable stock data platform, Shareinvestor.com, and sharing his investment philosophy through his book and forum (pertama.freeforums.net). I am one of the beneficiaries. I read Your First Million – Making It In Stocks in 2010 and wrote a book summary of it. His ideas shifted my perception on fundamental analysis – focus on valuing a company based on her assets rather than her earnings.
