Yesterday, went for a full-day management workshop revolving around the theme of Integration and Change. Besides going through some self-discovery on our individual thinking and behavioral preferences (nothing new to me as I've been quite a number of similar "tests" and the result is kind of consistent), we also went through some fun role plays by "acting" with our least preferred behavioral preference. Fun aside, the role play game is also meant to illustrate a few key points : 1. It's harder (but not impossible) to behave the ways with our least preferred behavioral preference (for example, if you are scoring low in expressiveness and suddenly asked you to express your mind openly to the crowd, uncomfortable set in and you are stretching yourself). The key is to consciously stretching your least preferred behavioral preference. 2. There is no right or wrong behavioral preferences or which one is better ......
