At least twice a year, my wife and I would make it a point to travel out of the country. It could be a shopping trip to Bangkok, a food-fest in Penang, an affordable luxury getaway to Bali, a sightseeing adventure in Taiwan, a rustic beach house in the middle of nowhere, or simply a self-rewarding spa session at Batam.
Tomorrow, I shall embark on a self-imposed 6-days of restricted access to mobile communication devices. Remember the days where we could immerse ourselves in an unfamiliar environment? Getting lost physically, and getting lost in translation! Ah, the memories. No distractions from the pesky handphone.
