SINGAPORE SMALL CAP COMPANIES The SGX is home to many small-cap companies. While some like investing in small-cap companies, betting for that huge upside potential, I believe that most of the small-cap companies listed here in Singapore lack the necessary growth catalysts to make them exciting prospects. In this article, I will be highlighting 5 Singapore Small-Cap companies with loads of cash on their balance sheet. My screening criteria requires for their net cash (cash and cash equivalent – total debt) to be over 50% of their market cap. Also, these companies have to be profitable. Evaluating a company based on cash on hand is often viewed as a part of “Value Investing”.
