Mapletree Logistics Trust (SGX:M44U) ‘s gross revenue for the financial quarter ending 30 September 2020 (2Q FY20/21) increased by S$10.1 million (8.3%) year-on-year to S$131.9 million, it’s manager announced on 19 October.
Distribution per unit (DPU) grew 1.5% to 2.055 cents (on an enlarged unit base), as the amount distributable to unitholders rose 6.2% year-on-year to S$78.3 million.
This was mainly driven by higher revenue from existing properties, contributions from accretive acquisitions completed in FY 19/20, as well as initial contribution from Ouluo Logistics Park Phase 2, a redevelopment project in Shanghai, China that was completed recently. The overall revenue growth was partially offset by rental rebates granted to eligible tenants who were impacted by Covid-19 and the absence of contribution from a property divested in FY19/20.
Correspondingly, net property income increased by a similar 8.9% to S$118.9 million.
