GrabPay Power Up challenge has been going on for the past few months, and this is sadly the last time it’d happen. Nevertheless, let’s make hay while the sun is shining, and given that 517 people have already accomplished this within the first 15 hours, the sun wouldn’t be out for long. 1,483 spots remain at the time of writing! Register here with your smartphone, or find the challenge in your Grab app. For those new to the promotion, you need to spend $500 online to get 5,000 points. Another $500 more of online spending gets you a further 20,000 points. So far, people have reported that a single transaction of $1,000 or more does get you both tiers. Do note the terms and conditions specified by Grab, notably the exclusions on:

As an adult, I’ve been through many ups and downs in my career path and personal finance journey, not unlike many Singaporeans. From my years as a tied insurance agent turned independent financial adviser, I realised that there are very few sources of proper, unbiased financial advice for working adults to access. Worse, self-styled “financial consultants” are selling products like savings plans and ILPs to the detriment of the clients whose interests they were supposed to serve.
