Introducing Tiger Coins: Singaporean’s Love for Freebies

     Yup, I said it. Singaporeans love free things. From free food to free vouchers, if there’s a queue, you join in. And if you didn’t already know, “kiasu” is now an officially recognised in Oxford English Dictionary. Sweet. I myself am not spared, but instead embrace some of these “kiasu” deals, which in recent years, have evolved its medium into very app-based. Here are just some Kiam Siap examples of some free things I can get by just spending a few minutes of my time in a day. Back when the mileslife was still in operating in Singapore, I sign in everyday to get free miles. I take 1 minute to scan my receipts from Capitaland malls so I can receive vouchers I play PolicyPal’s money game to earn me NTUC vouchers LAST but not least, I collect tiger coins everyday!
