The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent

Are we in a late-stage bubble? Are things about to pop? Should we short overvalued stocks? Those were my first thoughts as I see rampant speculation and valuations detached from reality. In this post, I’ll write about the talk of the town in the past 2 weeks, Rivian Automotive and how its stock doubled after IPO. I think the stock is way overvalued, but I made a bet that is atypical of my usual behavior. It is a bit confusing, so I’m recording this action for future reference.
