Financial Goals Progress May 2022

Above is the progress of me reaching my targeted financial goals for May 2022. The total value of my financial assets continued to decline from 60.01% to 59.23%. The main reason for the decline was due to the decline in the value of my stock portfolio. The market sell off continued through the month of May. If you wonder how I compute the total value of my financial assets, they are: Insurance Savings Singlife, DashEasyEarn and Dash PET are alternative to traditional savings accounts whereby I park some cash aside and let them grow. I am a working salaried professional in my mid 30s. Just like most Singaporeans, I worked long office working hours, often trying very hard to find some work life balance. The Sweet Retirement Blog was created to share my journey towards achieving a comfortable retirement life. I believe we cannot simply rely solely on our Central Provident Fund savings when reaching old age.
