Happy CNY everyone (Final day though)! Expenses for the month of Jan came down by around 7% month on month. I was a little surprised as I thought it will be more in Jan. I did buy myself a new phone and some expenses related to red packets. Decided to change the format of expense tracking so I can easily see and compare the pattern of expenses. Happy to see that I am still within my self set budget of 5k per month. From Feb onwards, I am expecting an increase in expenses as I will be heading back to full time work, mainly on transportation. ( petrol, toll fee and car park)....

A father on career break ( or career suicide) so he can spend more time with the kids and also to refocus his life and career. Random musings ( investment, kids, current affairs, TV shows and what not) of his everyday life as a "full time parent" depending on his passive income to pay for his part of expenses at home. Fortunate to have a very supportive wife ( who by the way prefers me to be at home all the time than to travel for work all the time) and 2 cute kids.
