In the latest portfolio performance review for the first quarter of 2023 that was published by Syfe on 28th April 2023, I think many were blown away by how Syfe REIT+ outperformed similar REIT options. If you are unaware, Syfe REIT+ comes in two flavors:

• 100% REIT (which is what I’m using)
• REIT+ with Risk Management (basically with ABF Singapore Bond Index Fund added)

Note – When I mention Syfe REIT+ in this blog post, I’m always referring to the 100% option. In particular, one peculiar statistic caught my attention. REIT+ (100% REIT) portfolios outperformed its benchmark index – iEdge S-REIT Leaders Index – by an incredible 1.2% in Q1 2023. If we were to extend the time horizon to include the time since inception, the cumulative returns of Syfe REIT+ was a whopping 13.0% vs the benchmark 8.7%....
