Back when I was a kid growing up in the 90s, being a millionaire was like the ultimate dream. Released in 2001, the song, 一百萬, literally translated to one million dollars. Lyrics in the song included, “If I had a million dollars, life would be so easy!” It was the pinnacle of many people’s dreams. Back then, people believed that you were set for life if you were a millionaire.
