After receiving a red-hot response from investors and experiencing over-subscription for the last issue, Singapore Savings Bonds witnessed an incredible response from yield hunters yet again in the latest SSB December 2023 issue.
A total of $1.9 billion (1.9x) was applied for out of the total $1 billion available.
If you have noticed, the total offered for this issue of SSB was maintained at $1 billion (same as the previous month) and needless to say, that proved insufficient to meet the high demand.
Historically, the SSB max. offered amount has always been $1 billion, and they were for the issues of December 2022 (3.47%), November 2023 (3.32%) and December 2023 (3.40%).
By offering an appealing yield of more than 3.3% for ten years, Singapore Savings Bonds attracted tonnes of investors who rushed to put more cash into this issue.
