Olam joint venture to set up a US$200 million sugar refinery in Nigeria!

On 02/Dec, Singapore shares end lower Friday as investor took profit ahead of the announcement of U.S. Nov employment data.

STI ended lower at 3172.44 (0.8%) with LOW VOL of 1.13 billion shares traded compared with 1.46 billion shares Thursday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 263 to 202. Although STI falls 0.8% but the selling mainly focus on the STI component stocks rather than the overall market. Moreover the trading volume is very low which indicates that most of the traders are still keeping sideline.
