STI ended lower at 3181.15 (0.1%) with LOW VOL of 1.79 billion shares traded compared with 1.46 billion shares Monday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 361 to 126. Today STI undergo overall market heavy selling pressure at increased volume as investors sells on possible policy tightening ahead.

Keppel Corp. (BN4.SG) 4Q net profit rose 17% to S$403 million compared with S$343 million a year ago due to better contribution from the offshore and marine division. Keppel also plans for bonus issue of one share for every 10 held.
SIA Engineering Co. (S59.SG) 3Q net profit increase 7.7% to S$60.3 million compared with S$56 million a year earlier boosted by aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul work.
