General Elections 2011

This post departs from the normal topic of financial freedom for a change. If you have been keeping your eyes and ears alert to current affairs in Singapore, you would know that the Singapore Elections 2011 are just around the corner. It comes once in 5 years or so where citizens aged 21 and above cast their votes for the elected member(s) of Parliament.

I’m not going to delve into politics to urge you to vote for this or that party. But the point is to encourage one and all to participate in the electoral process. Think about what the issues of the day are that affects your livelihood and your income because your ability to achieve financial freedom depends on some extent to the policies enacted by the party that is voted into power.
