S&P downgrades US to AA+ (Bloodbath next week)

Bookmark and Share Standard and Poor’s downgraded* United States of America to AA+. This was done after the close of Friday trading hours. I foresee there is going to be blood everywhere next week. For those who held to bonds - do not be too happy because any rise in yields due to perceived higher credit risks is going to affect bond prices negatively. For those with poor asset allocation, they are better off gambling at the casinos in which the long term prospect is negative also. On 24 July 2011, I made a video podcast for all my investment clients on my market views which by now most people know I am bearish.
