CMA, CMT, CapLand commit $1.57b to develop Jurong site!

On 01/Dec, Singapore shares ended higher helped by major central banks to slash dollar credit costs in Europe, as well as monetary policy easing in China.

STI ended higher at 2761.88 (2.2%) with HIGH VOL of 1.71 billion shares traded compared with 1.64 billion shares Wednesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 265 to 119. Today STI undergo strong buying pressure though profit-taking dragged it off highs later in the session.

Ascott Residence Trust (A68U.SG) has issued S$100 million in 2018 fixed-rate notes.

Global Logistic Properties (GBTZF) has priced a S$500 million perpetual bond issue at a 5.50% coupon.

After market close

CapitaMalls Asia Limited together with CapitaMall Trust and CapitaLand has committed S$1.57 billion dollars for the development of the Jurong Gateway site.
