DBS Bank Seeks To Price Bond To Yield Tsys +262.5 BPs +/-5 BPs!

On 14/Mar, Singapore shares ended higher on upbeat comments from the Federal Reserve.

STI ended higher at 3026.40 (1.3%) with LOW VOL of 1.86 billion shares traded compared with 1.29 billion shares Tuesday. In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 263 to 151. Today STI had a relatively weak buying pressure despite the index has close 1.3% higher. This affirms to the unwillingness of the investors to buy the stocks higher.

DBS Bank has tightened final guidance on its planned benchmark U.S. dollar 10.5-year Lower Tier II bond and is now seeking to price it to yield 257.5-267.5 basis points over five-year Treasuries.
