I believe under the Act, my wife gets 50% and my children gets 50% Answer: No it is not confirmed. It only takes one example to demonstrate it is not confirm. In a recent court ruling of Low Heng Leon Andy v Low Kian Beng Lawrence (administrator of the estate of Tan Ah Kng, deceased) [2013] SGHC 101, the court granted Low Heng Leon Andy the right to be entitled to the sale proceeds of the deceased’s HDB flat despite him not having any rights to it under the Intestate Succession Act.
