The era of no load funds is here – well almost here. Fundsupermart announced on 30 May 2013 that it is dropping its sales charge (again). RSP is 0%, many bond funds are 0% and equity funds are only 0.5% subject to a minimum of $10. Switching is also almost free between 0% to 0.5%. I think it is quite safe for me to say that many financial advisers are no longer selling unit trusts. So many investors have to rely on themselves to invest. Before anyone jumps on board to buy these almost ‘free’ unit trusts, here are some “tips”:
