What I Spent 29 Hours On Last Week

This is the reason why cheerfulegg has been really quiet lately:

As you can see from my Rescuetime summary, I’ve been involved in a project that typically takes up over 20 hours a week. I’d work on this project during any free time I had: Early in the morning, late at night, on the bus, while on dates, etc (just kidding on that last one – my girlfriend would totally kill me). Heck, 2 weeks ago, I took a couple of days of leave off from work and spent two days at the airport typing furiously away and drinking multiple $1 Coffee Bean airport brew refills. Yes, I’m frugal even when it comes to coffee.

I’m not telling you this to brag (there’s nothing to brag about when you give up all forms of a social life). I’m just explaining why I’ve been M-I-A from my blog for the past (Read more...)
