Singapore Stocks Market Correction next?

Singapore stocks have performed very well this year and today is 1st June 2014, so do we see the “Sell in May and Go away” scene that is oft-cited by some? No, in fact, the STI still performed well in May with yet some more potential privatisation plays beckoning for investors to consider. The most recent potential privatisation play in May 2014 was none other than Tiger Airways stock which rallied up some 17% to close at $0.53 which was eight cents more than its closing price on 29 May 2014. There was speculation that SIA would increase its stake in Tiger Airways stock or even possibly, Tiger Airways stock could be taken private, say by Temasek Holdings. But one more compelling reason could be that investors take clue from the news that Singapore Airlines is injecting an additional S$400 million of capital into its budget long-haul unit Scoot, ......
