My Stocks Portfolio Rationalization Revealed: Part 2

So how do we rationalize our stocks portfolio in this sense? Well, for me, I classify my stocks in my portfolio into different themes. I have themes like dividend plays, below NAVs, privatisation plays, potential multi-baggers, blue-chips, geographical theme stocks, GLCs-linked stocks, S-chips, etc. I choose the description of each of these stocks grouping carefully to reflect in a nutshell, my expectation for the stock, my reason for the purchase of the stock and what I would like to get as a result of holding or selling of these stocks. This to me is rationalization but to others, this, looking at my example of rationalization above may mean diversification so as to diversify risks. Well, what I could say is that my rationalization of my stocks portfolio leads to diversification but to others they can rationalize that putting all their monies in a single basket is a more rational thing ......
