STI ended this month down to close at 3276 points. The market is very much in negative territory especially towards the end of this month, as investors grapple with issues like timing of interest rate hike in US, weak China growth, euro zone sluggishness and lately, unrest in Hong Kong. With so many bad news out there, it is no wonder that most investors had opted to stay on the sidelines.

For this month, I have attended the following AGMs/EGMs/briefings - CM Pacific, Hotel Grand Central, Craft Print, SGX, Lian Beng, GKE and TEE International.

For my top 30 holdings, Straits Trading had been a new entry as I have accumulated the stock this month. Stamford Land returned to the list as I added more to the stock. MTQ dropped out of the list after the stock underperformed the market due to its poor quarterly results. Most of the other ...
