Laughing at Wall Street

A non-REIT posting today. I am currently reading a book titled "Laughing at Wall Street: How I Beat the Pros at Investing (by Reading Tabloids, Shopping at the Mall, and Connecting on Facebook)".  It was written by Chris Camillo, a retail investor who managed to turn US$20,000 into over US$2,000,000 between 2007 and 2010. I first caught wind of the book when I read an article by The Motley Fool Singapore.  Being a cheapskate investor, I was curious but unwilling to buy the book.  So I reserved the book from the National Library and paid $1.55 for three weeks of reading pleasure. I am still midway through the book but I am already excited enough to blog about it.  I am contemplating to order it from Amazon.com and add it to my collection of must-read personal finance books of all time.  The other laureates in my library ......
