As the year 2014 wound to a close and we crossed over into 2015, it also means that earnings reporting season is around the corner.
Earnings season is always marked with frenzy and a flurry of activities in the market. Newswires will be churning headlines one after another and the sell-side analysts will be jumping from one earnings conference to another.
Trading tends to be more volatile as beating market expectations and missing estimates translate into buying and selling of shares. While it is not so dramatic in the Singapore stock market as compared to the U.S., this would still be a good time to keep up on the latest performance of your vested companies.
