Recently, someone said this to me: “You will never buy a luxury car!”. I was surprised by the statement, for I have always liked the expensive brands of BMW and Audi. Sometimes when I daydream, I fantasize myself speeding into the sunset in such a car. But instinctively, I know that my friend was right. It will really take a lot for me to sign the dotted line to buy an expensive set of wheels. And I think I know why. I have a single, wealthy friend. She operates a jewellery shop, owns a few investment properties and drives a Jaguar. She came from humble means and made her money from her jewellery trade.
