Putting myself in the line of fire: Looking for a job

After quite a while of unemployment, I’m looking for a job. I’ve debated about this for a long time. I think the main reason is boredom and unproductivity. At my age, I think I don’t fully grasp the importance of the passage of time, as youngsters are wont to do. I feel like I fritter my time away at home quite unproductively. I’ve done up my resume, and searched lots of job sites for something that matches my ideal job. After years of tough sales jobs, I’m ready for something backend and relaxing. I’m mainly looking out for admin/receptionist kind of roles, basically something that doesn’t need me to work much outside of normal working hours.
