Recently, Mr W and I walked past Isetan in Westgate. I actually planned to go look at drying rack for our new place but I saw a $50 crazy bag counter. I told Mr W : hey that must be a fu dai (fukubukuro/ lucky bag/fortune bag) event! Somehow, when the concept is planted in Singapore, it became crazy bag, super unromantic sounding.
Uncle manning the counter looked damn bored. There was no one in queue by the way. That was strange because the entire Isetan was chocked full of people looking for National Day deals. Anyway, Uncle kindly shared with me the contents of one $50 crazy bag
