Different investors use different investing strategies to profit from the stocks markets. Some look at technical charts, others look at the fundamentals of the stocks of interest to them. There are others who look at drivers, what are the macro drivers driving the stocks. Extrapolated on a longer time scale, the macro drivers are what are known as “mega trends”. A mega trend is a trend that shapes the world, for instance, the mega trend of negative and low interest rates environment in the past few years. Some investors are using the concept of mega trend where it comes to finding the next profitable investing idea.
