Adult and Student Concession Passes: Are they worth it?

What’s one common financial decision that undergraduates and working adults both have to face? To get or not to get transport concession passes! The Adult Monthly Travel Pass (AMTP) was introduced in 2014 and functions similar to that of the Undergraduate concession pass. Upon successful application of an AMTP, a payment of $128.10 is required. This payment covers the cost of a one-month Adult Monthly Travel Pass, $5 card cost and $3.10 personalisation fee. The Undergraduate concession pass also charges the monthly rate, a $5 card cost and $3.10 personalisation fee.
