About The Author
La Papillion means butterfly in French. Just as a caterpillar metamorphosed into a beautiful butterfly, so will this caterpillar undergo the same journey though not in the world of nature, but in the world of investing. La Papillion's roots are in technical analysis, so reading charts is quite naturally to him after having done it for 1 year plus daily. He has dabbled in warrants, lost a lot, gained it back, lost a lot more again, gained it back, all within the span of 1.5 years. La Papillion is now venturing into fundamental analysis and he hope to become a hybrid investor - someone who invest based on both FA and TA. He is currently blogging mainly of his experiences in making the transition from TA to FA, detailing the lessons he has learnt from reading accounting books, valuation and analysis of financial statements.
